Pop, It's tough to pick a memory with a stack so high, but that is a testament to how great of a Granddad you were. From those elite chicken wings that you used to sling off the barbie to Jessie's benefit, or to the countless childhood memories of racing balsa boats and adjudicating the family cricket test matches, and finally, not to mention the five years of you managing our football team, I will always be grateful for these. You made every one of us grandkids feel seen and heard. There would always be a question about how our interests were going, or life in general, and the true art of it all was that you would recount something we had spoken about months ago like we were picking up from where we had left off. You had such an ability to stay relevant in people's lives; whether time would go by, the connection wouldn't. You were intentful and caring in your time with everyone while keeping life light with a smile and a laugh. You lived with constant pressure, and you never changed your core values. Nine kids and thirty grandkids, and yet you stayed the course of loving your family and caring for your neighbour. You believed everyone deserved light, and you were a beacon of it, willing to share it with the world. I am proud to be a part of your legacy, I will cherish the memories and I will always remember you. I love you Pop; Rest Easy.
