Community Involvement
As part of the Western Australian community, Bowra & O’Dea Funeral Directors work to give back through community involvement. We believe community involvement is an important part of our commitment to being “the leaders in funeral service”.

Donations
Bowra & O’Dea work with charitable groups across the WA community with various initiatives.
Our staff actively participate in projects from annual Christmas appeal drives to local community projects.

Events & Information Sessions
Empowering our community with information sessions and event stalls at community centres, sporting clubs, nursing homes, self-help organisations and our branches.

Environment
Reducing our day-to-day use of plastics and contributing to a greener future are two key areas of focus at Bowra & O’Dea.
We aim to reduce plastic pollution and give plastic waste a new life by taking plastic bottles that are accepted to the Containers for Change programme depots.
Our Memorial Grove program with Trillion Trees Australia where staff volunteers annually plant native trees to honour the lives of those in our care, and to contribute to a greener future for WA.

Sponsorship
We sponsor various groups in the community to assist their research or support worthwhile projects which benefits the whole community.

Sports & Recreation
We also know that sports and recreation are integral to a healthy and happy community and Bowra & O’Dea feel privileged to be part of many local bowling, golfing and recreation clubs.

The Bowra & O'Dea Classic
Bowra & O’Dea value our commitment to Women’s golf and the broader golfing community in WA. We aspire to continue serving the WA community through our dedication to nurturing our golfing partnerships and local initiatives.

Part of the Community
Offering support where we can to areas such as health, youth, employment, multiculturalism and the environment, is integral to the ethics of our family and business.
