Bryce McGain’s Inspiring Story
A multi-talented player
Retired Australian cricketer Bryce McGain was known for his career as a leg-spin bowler. At thirty-five McGain transitioned from an IT worker to a professional cricketer with such remarkable success, he earned a spot in Australia’s Test squad for the India tour within just one year.
An injury and subsequent surgery forced McGain home, but in 2009, after perseverance and sheer determination, McGain earned his Test cap, representing Australia against South Africa.
Today, McGain contributes to cricket as a coach and cricket commentator.
