A Geraldton boy growing up in Perth, Dennis Cometti started his career playing football for Footscray in the 70s before injury forced him to hang up his boots. Though his on-field career was over, it did not stop young Dennis from pursuing a career in sport through commentating. Covering everything from Test cricket to the Commonwealth Games, Olympics and his beloved AFL, Dennis has carved himself a firm place as one of Australia’s sporting greats.
