Lauren Mitchell’s Inspiring Story

Australia’s most Successful and Decorated Gymnast.

Lauren Mitchell enjoyed gymnastics as a child with her first experience at a ‘Gymbus’ birthday party, who didn’t love those as a kid! However Laurens natural ability and love for the sport quickly progressed her to a high performance program in Perth. Attending two Olympic Games, many Commonwealth Games and World Championships, Lauren was the first Australian Women to win a Gold Medal at Worlds. With a plethora of medals to show from over the years her biggest achievement was winning 4 Gold and 1 Silver medal at the Commonwealth Games in 2010. She was recently awarded an OAM for her contribution to the sport, what an inspirational athlete.
