With an impressive career and numerous accolades, Richard Goyder talks about his humble beginnings growing up on a farm. Born at Tambellup in Western Australia, Goyder eventually graduated from UWA with a commerce degree, playing amateur football for several teams in the WAAFL. After graduating from university, Goyder excelled in his corporate roles earning the title of Western Australian of the year two times! Goyder currently holds five chairmanships:
- AFL Commission
- Qantas
- Woodside Energy
- West Australian Symphony Orchestra
- Channel 7 Telethon Trust
