In 2013, after the tragic death of his 16-year-old son, involving synthetic drugs purchased through the dark web online marketplace Silk Road, Rod Bridge’s life would be forever changed. Rod undertook a mission to track down the organisations involved in the manufacture and distribution of the drugs, central to his sons’ death. Rod founded Sideffect, a not-for-profit aimed to educate youth on substance awareness through early intervention and empowerment.
