Ryan Campbell’s Inspiring Story

Ryan Campbell has had a sensational career as an Australian cricketer over two decades. Campbell shares his story with a healthy pinch of humour about the highs and lows of his time on and off the field.

In 2022, Campbell’s life took a dramatic turn while playing with his children in a playground in England, suffered a life-threatening heart attack. Campbell recounts the events leading up to the moment with no memory except “getting on a plane and then waking up 7-8 days later.”  Campbell experienced an outpouring of love and support from family, friends and fans and relied on the strength of his wife, who, in his words, is “my inspiring story”.

His outlook on life has changed – remembering to stop and enjoy the special moments with his wife and family.
