Christopher Robert Harkness

We remember our dear friend Chris, who inspired many by his courage, faith and perseverance, often in the face of significant challenges. He was an intelligent and well respected leader and mentor in the fields of Social Work, Ignatian Spirituality and the delivery of the First Spiritual Exercises of St Ignatius. For for the causes he believed in, he worked hard to ‘make a difference.’ As a humble person of deep principles in the sacredness of life, he showed a reverence for human life, and all creation. While outside in Nature, he developed a sensitivity towards and love of it. Chris was reserved in his emotions but we will remember his quiet sense of humour and lovely chuckle.
